Not quite sure about your question ? But if you are saying the formation then 10 troops the most can join the battle

There is a function in game called ‘union help‘, and you can ask union members to send you troops to aid you in battle. You can try in game and see if that‘s what you are asking about this

Ok, first I would like you to keep an eye on the “union help“ to see if Dimon gets these troops are from there; second suppose you can battle him once to see the replay to confirm once more about the troops amount ; third I‘ll let our tech guys to check after we get your update on this .
So let‘s start with the normal understanding of the game setting

I have to disagree with your thought that we are just avoiding the problem and as you can see hate to say this again  but  I am trying to get as much as information as I can so our guys can have a general idea . I am not sure about your reaction towards this seems a little more and I can understand,   but minds always fast than actions and time is needed before we see this mystery unfolded
